Anniversary trip to Mexico

Hi friends,

I wanted to let you all know that Billy and I just got back from a great anniversary trip to Mexico. Lana and Dr. Friday arranged for us to stay at a beautiful resort hotel/spa in Ensenada -- right on the Pacific coast. We had dinner at a restaurant on the water and watched the sun set -- how romantic!

I've started this blog so that we can share information about our journeys. I wanted to give my friends the opportunity to know what is the latest news and information about the medical community in Mexico. First, let me reassure you all that our doctors have not handled (or heard of) any patients with Swine Flu. The U.S. media have failed to mention that most of these cases are in Mexico City.

Also, I want to reassure you that we have not heard of any violence at or near any of the medical facilities that we visit. Lana Humphries, who operates the guest house -- between Tijuana and Rosarita -- says that all is fine there and she continues to cross the border almost daily. She recently moved to a new house is the same gated subdivision, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Photos to follow shortly.

I also wanted to let you all know that in addition to great prices on weight loss procedures: lap band, gastric sleeve, mini gastric bypass; we have also secured great rates on dentistry, cosmetic procedures and vision correction (lasix) or eyeglasses. I look forward to hearing from you all soon. Dr. Friday should be visiting us again the last week of July. If anyone knows of a great house/condo to rent on the Gulf of Mexico coast, please let me know. He is bringing his family and would like to spend a few days there. I'll keep you all updated about upcoming trips.
